A little About Madres...
Madres Churros started in 2019 at a farmers market in San Diego as a vegan churro. After founder Janee Gutierrez was diagnosed with a gluten intolerance and couldn’t enjoy her churros, she went into the kitchen and created a gluten free recipe. What began as a small pop-up with a mission to create a vegan churro, quickly grew into a beloved brand known for its gluten-free, vegan poi churros made with local ingredients.
Today, Madres Churros is based in Oʻahu, sharing joy through pop-ups, catering, and soon growing the dream of bringing frozen churros to dessert lovers everywhere!
